GLAMOUR DMC'S PARTNERSHIP WITH A MISSION Community Outreach Programme Invites Clients To Give Back While Traveling
Montego Bay, Jamaica – April 2009 – Glamour, a Destination Management Company based in Jamaica with offices in the Cayman Islands and Turks & Caicos Islands, is inviting travel partners, group organizers and clients to join hands with them to make a difference during their travel experience. Partnership with a Mission invites interested parties to be a part of Glamour’s ongoing philanthropic efforts. “Glamour has a long history of giving back to the community through various efforts on its own and through partnerships with a number of groups and clients. The directors are very active in community service as well. Projects have ranged from painting schools, building a house from the base up or simply entertaining a group of young ones in a children’s home. In these harsh economic times, it is still important to give to the less fortunate in society,” said Roy Anderson, Managing Director. In recognition of the various requests that have come from organizations with which Glamour does business, both groups and individuals alike, Glamour has decided to launch a full programme allowing persons to participate freely. Some past efforts have included providing free transportation for schools and churches going on day trips, offering mentorship, donating clothing and raising funds for the Westhaven Children’s Home through a partnership with Definitive Caribbean, a UK based company. Glamour has also facilitated the donation of food, books, wheelchairs and houses through the “Food For The Poor” Organization.
